un pò di cose che fa
1) GAUGE FUNCTION
This gadget allows you to read real time data coming from your car's ECU module (the car's brain) such as:
RPM (engine revolutions per minute): this is the standard de facto way of seeing how much power is being generated by your car, this shows a digital reading allowing to be very precise in your gear changes improving your fuel effeciency or even your cornering technique if you are a very techincal driver. This gadget allows you to observe the perfect RPM figure for you to changfe gear or even check gear ratios to ensure they are setup correctly.
MPG (miles per gallon): probably the most important info required for most of us! Fuel prices have rocketed, as drivers we need to invest in products that show us how to conserve our fuel, this gadget shows you REAL TIME data as well as an average. The benefit being you can asses what idriving habits are fuel effecient and those which are not hence allowing you to cut out innefiecient driving habits, just watch how much fuel you will save, you will be amazed.
Battery Voltage: you can asses whether your car battery needs to be topped up or recharged
Fuel pressure: Proper fuel pressure is critical at wide open throttle to prevent lean conditions. This is also a great tool for tuning your engine to produce maximum horsepower at all rpm ranges. It will work with all naturally aspirated and forced induction engines,
Intake air temperature: the sensor keeps tabs on the temperature of the air circulating through the exhaust system. which will help you asses whether the car's computer can regulate the exhaust-gas recirculation. Avoiding costly repairs if it fails to work or the temp is to high
Water temperature: This allows to see if your engine is overheating as the water will get hotter and hotter, this gadget allows you to measure with 0.1 accuracy
Manifold Pressure: This reading is counted amongst the most sensors in a car. It is responsible for ensuring that the computerized functions related to the car’s ignition are executed with precision. You can view the data in real time.
The MAP (manifold pressure) sensor controls the input/output to the car’s PCM (Powertrain Control Module). The MAP sensor recognizes any form of pressure changes within the engine’s ignition system and creates a corresponding ignition signal. Every time, vacuum/pressure input rises, the voltage output readings by the MAP sensor dip. This voltage reading is transmitted to the PCM which in turn ensures that the timing/intensity of the ignition system is controlled.
You can view the data in real time.
Engine Load: Allows you to measure how much load your engine is currently using usefull if your car does towing
Throttle position: sensor signal is used by the (ECU) as an input to its control system. The ignition timing and fuel injection timing (and potentially other parameters) are altered depending upon the position of the throttle, and also depending on the rate of change of that position.
Ignition timing: is the process of setting the time that a spark will occur in the combustion chamber (during the compression stroke) relative to piston position and crankshaft angular velocity.
Setting the correct igniton timing is crucial in the performance of an engine. The ignition timing affects many variables including engine longevity, fuel economy, and engine power. You can measure this in real time!
Closed/Open loop: Allowing you to asses the feedback system you car has
BHP output
Gallons left in the tank: Self explanatory really! Yes your car does really have this info on the ECU module (the car computer)
2) TRIP FUNCTION
Trip Computer: Probably the most advanced trip computer you will find, measures:
Max speed reached
Current speed
Driving distance
Trip Fuel economy (average)
Distance to fuel tank empty
Average speed
Driving time
Fuel Used
Current Fuel economy (real time)
You can split individual trips and store them (max 4) and recall the data any time
You can even split each trip by tank of fuel and measure:
Fuel used since Last fill up (litres)
Distance driven since last fill up
Distance remaining before tank is empty
Time driven since last fill up
Time remaining until tank is empty
Trip fuel economy since last fill up
Fuel remaining
Time fuel economy
3) SCAN FUNCTION
Read all error codes: Saving on costly mechainc diagnostic via using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs made.
Erase problem codes - Data captured when the Trouble Code was set can help troubleshoot problems & be used to clear the trouble codes and data which will turn off the warning check-light (Check Engine, Service Engine soon, etc.).
Check VIN number on certain vehicles
Check fully your Emmision Systems (Used in MOT testing):
Malfunction Indication
Misfire Monitoring
Comprehnesive Component Monitoring
Fuel System Monitoring
Catalyst Monitoring
Heated Catalyst Monitoring
Evaporative System Monitoring
Secondary Air System Monitoring
A/C System REfigerant Monitoring
Oxygen sensor Heater Monitoring - o2s and HTR
EGR system Monitoring
4) Car Black Box Recorder
Save and record up to 300 Hours of driving data:
Distance traveled each trip
Max speed reached over trip
Number of times of extreme accelertation during trip
Number of times of extreme deccelartation during trip
Number of times of hard acceleration
Number of times of hard brake
Average Speed
Average Fuel consumption

Noi coraggiosi? No, non è vero.
Spesso perdiamo solo il senso della realtà.
Ma quando ce ne accorgiamo, tremiamo di paura anche noi come tutti quanti.
